Started working at Baylor yesterday. This seems to be a good place to work. Everything is very quiet (though partly thanks to my 9.99 CVS noise-cancelling headphones). The equipment and software provided seems to be more than sufficient for the task and people are fairly relaxed and concentrated.

I am listening to Radio 4's live stream online, though the network policies are not allowing any instant messaging to go through. I may have to write that web-service based http proxy for IM after all... I think I will be able to walk to the hospital and catch a shuttle to work which will really make my commute to work very satisfactory.

Worried about Joe and Robbie.... we will see what that situation brings. We will all miss Joe terribly if he goes. I guess Gabi is in Budapest right now.

So, today I am struggling to concentrate on work. Having scaled back my meds, things are a little easier, but I am still having to bite my tongue to put in a full 8 hours. Hopefully this will get better as the meds are further decreased. Looking forward to a transition to my new job at Baylor. Finally it got cold here. That's good. Must look into robotics...
